A highlight of 2008 has been the recognition at CMDHB level of two of our nurses in the May 12th International Nurses day nursing awards at CMDHB. RN Tazmin Ismail was awarded the Best Preceptor award for Primary Healthcare CMDHB. Gillian Davies was awarded the Leadership award for Primary Healthcare CMDHB. We are justifiably proud of them, both for their work within ETHC and the recognition of their skills within Primary Healthcare CMDHB.

Gillian brings to her role of Nurse Educator commitment, enthusiasm and innovation. These skills are apparent in the emerging models of care within ETHC in delivering education and healthcare to both the ETHC workforce and the THO enrolled population. She is strongly supported by the ETHC management team and the nursing workforce in the clinics.
