Laboratory tests

The doctors at the clinics may sometimes want to get your blood or urine tested to be able to diagnose the condition and also to decide right medication for you. These tests could be for anything from blood sugar to a full blood count or a sample of tissue to test for cancer. Urine tests are generally tested at the clinics, but blood and other specimens are usually sent for testing to a lab.
Generally it takes 48 hours for the reports to come in, and when the reports are received by the clinic, the patient may be recalled to be advised further.
