History

The growth journey

The East Tamaki Healthcare (ETHC) Group started as a single doctor and one receptionist practice in 1968 in Otara. Dr Patel took over the solo general practice in 1977.

Over the years the practice has grown into a large team of health professionals and operational staff who are here to serve the wider community. The success of our clinics has been driven by the strength of our team and the quality of services we provide to our patients. We do this by ensuring that our values are part of our daily practice.

ETHC is now a network of 15 general practice clinics, with over 57 doctors caring for 120,000 registered patients.
